George Washington Osteen passed away September 21, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born August 13, 1944 and was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. George graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 with an honorable discharge. He retired from JEA in 2001. George is survived by his brother, Robert Osteen.
A visitation for friends will be held at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00am at Restlawn Cemetery, 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32208.
