George H. Weller Jr.

George H. Weller Jr., 93, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. George was born April 22, 1922 in Jacksonville, Florida to George H. and Violetta (Mathews) Weller Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral. George enjoyed being out on the water and was a member of the Florida Yacht Club. George was also a big Gator fan. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 30 years Joan Weller; son Heber Weller (Barbara); sister-in-law Libby Weller; grandson Brian H. Weller; niece Delia Baker; and nephew Garrison Weller (Cindy). Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Johns Episcopal Cathedral, 256 East Church Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. Interment will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request that you please donate to your favorite charity or your local hospice.
