I worked at Bernhardt Labs in the 1990s loved Dr. Bernhardt and Ms. B. They were both the kindest people I've ever known to this day.  They both always had a smile on their face and a kind word for everyone they meet.  I can't tell you how much I miss them and think of them often.
God bless you all. I pray to see you all again, even if its in the next life.

Will always remember our Sundays together with  our families at your home. We all played in the back yard, schmoozed and ate hot dogs and saurkraut sandwiches for dinner. They are still one of my favorite things. Will always remember our times together and our phone calls to keep in touch. You were a special aunt to me.

I was close with grandmother Gertrude. She would give the best advice on life. We knew the this time would come eventually but it doesn't hurt any less. She will always live on in my heart. I will miss you nana!

Mrs. Gurtie was one of our favorite people of inspiration.  Years ago when we meet at her post office mail box in an apartment complex on Baymeadows, we struck up a conversation and long term friendship.  If I wanted to know the inside on political campaigns, she had it and and offered an earful of her opinion. (the truth)  I felt her time was short after our drop in visits with her at River Gardens.  I know she has our God laughing now. Lord willing we'll all be together again.

I met Gertrude through Ruth Workman, her friend from high school.  She was of the most upbeat persons I have ever met.  She was so sweet!  My condolences to the whole family.  Let your memories be your greatest source of comfort.  She always called me "Ellen", and I never corrected her.

GG was the most positive person that I ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with at Bernhardt Labs. GG always had a smile and a kind word for all of us.

GG was one of the first Bernhardts I met when my daughter, Melissa started dating Brad Bernhardt. From the beginning she treated my family as hers. I'll never forget when I moved to Jacksonville 4 years ago GG reminding me to bring my son Tommy to dinner as he was her date for the dinner.  Due to other family obligations we won't be there today but will be there in spirit. GG always made me smile and during my last visit to see her she kept telling me that I had a wonderful daughter and I should be proud of Melissa. I am proud of Melissa and I'm so glad I got to know GG.

To my dear friend Gertie. Ienjoyed our visits and valued your wisdom. As you        would always say C'est la vie. So my dear friend C'est la vie

GiGi, I will always remember your visits and hugs at the lab!
You are missed by many people.
You will make a great angel in heaven as you were one on earth and touched many lives.
