5 years!  Hoping you and Stanley are welcoming his old friend Don who crossed over yesterday. See you every time I see photos of your sons. Rest easy. 

For years Gil walked around in a leather coat that had a painted pocket. He just bought a new tiny jar of paint for one of his model air planes. He reached in to show Stanley and out came a handful of dripping paint!  He forgot to check the cap before he put it in his pocket after making the purchase. The name Gil cannot be said without adding and Stanley. RIP both of you. ❤️

Stanley Adelson, my deceased husband, and Gil were best friends until Stanley's death in 2009. One of his best memories of Gil involved a leather jacket and a bottle of model paint that evidently was not closed correctly. Gil reached into the pocket to take out the bottle and, sure enough, came out with a handful of liquid paint all over his hand.   He made the trip to Virginia for Stan's funeral and I was so grateful for his presence during that difficult time. My prayers and thoughts are with Tracy, Gilbert and Andrew on their tragic loss. 

Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss.  I consider myself to have been privileged to serve with Gil during our tour of duty with the VS24 Scouts while aboard USS Nimitz.  Tracy, I will always keep you and your family in my prayers.  May the Good Lord bless you & keep you always.

As a former co-owner of a local hobby shop, The Kit Bunker, we always welcomed Gil and his pal Tracy, when they used to stop by regularly. Gil was funny, witty and always had a sly sense of humor. In recent years I would see him at the local IPMS contest as one of the judges. His keen eye helped select the proper winners. We'll miss you, Gil.

I only knew Gil a few short months from the modelling club at Orange Park, we lost a good man with multitudes of experience.  My condolences, God speed Gil.  You are flying with God now

As a fellow member of a modeling forum, Gil, whom we all knew as Dutycat, contributed a great deal. His videos of his builds of the Space Shuttle were, and are, an inspiration to us. He created, and produced, parts for our little community, to help us with our builds and we all shared in his pleasure with his win at the 2016 IPMS contest.

We could tell, that he was a helluva guy. Please accept my deepest condolences. We're going to miss his presence a great deal.

Although I only knew Gil a short time, he managed to touch my life, and I am  very thankful to have met, and had the chance too know him. I will miss him, my friend and riding buddy!  my most sincere condolences to your family and friends, the world is a little less bright without his shinning light! I will not forget him, and I know he is now Riding in Paradise.

I met Gil late last year and quickly learned he was a fine man.  He gave attention to details and didn't take any shortcuts.  I enjoyed a few long conversations with him about motorcycles which made it clear that he had quite a passion for them.  Although I'm very saddened about his passing I'm happy he was enjoying his final moments doing something he loved.  My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.  Rest in peace Gil #104
