Gladys Riederer

Gladys was born on January 26, 1943, in Bronx, New York. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City and worked for Remington Rand where she met her husband, Donald. They raised their family in North East, Pennsylvania, before retiring to Spring Hill, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Gladys T. (Giese) Hall. She is survived by her husband, Donald, of 59 years; her children Donald Jr. (Gretchen) Riederer, Joyce McCarthy, and Nancy (Benjie) Collins; grandchildren Kyle and Ryan McCarthy, Megan (Hayden) Weaver, Hannah Riederer, and Avalon, Alyeska and Alexandria Collins; and great-grandson Zachary Weaver.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, August 12 at St Joseph’s Catholic Historic Church, 4124 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
