Glenn Darwin Marchant, 58, passed away at home on April 17, 2021. He was born on February 14, 1963, in Jacksonville to parents, Floyd Douglas Marchant and Diane Lewis Marchant. He graduated from William Raines High School in 1981. He later relocated to Phoenix, AZ, and had recently returned to Jacksonville. Glenn was predeceased by his father, Floyd Douglas Marchant; grandparents, Floyd and Myrtis Marchant, and Mary Virginia Bryant. Glenn worked as a painting contractor. He loved hiking and bike riding, traveling, and being with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Diane Lewis Marchant; brothers, Wayne Marchant (Pat), Larry Marchant; sisters, Cindy Marchant Warren and Pam Marchant Garrison, all of Jacksonville; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Doyle Harper will officiate.
