Gregory Phillips Amos, age 66, died June 12, 2013 of natural causes at his home. High School sweetheart and beloved husband of Janice, who upon marriage became the much loved and appreciated father of Rhonda and Jeffrey and Opa to Erik, Christopher, Allison, Isabella, and Oliver. His cherished family also included Jeffrey’s wife, Nicole.
Gregory attended Southern Illinois University (BA), Loyola University (MBA). He spent most of his life in healthcare related industries. He was an entrepreneur, who owned his own business and enjoyed mentoring others. He belonged to many varied organizations during his lifetime, among them; Sister Cities of Jacksonville, Ribault Masonic Lodge #272, Jacksonville Chapter of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and the Morocco Shrine. His special attributes, talents and generous nature will be missed by all those who knew him.
