Gregory Flynn peacefully passed away January 13, 2026 surrounded by his family after losing his battle to cancer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn, his children, Heather Dahlen and Sean Flynn, his daughter-in-law Julianne Flynn and son-in-law Lloyd Dahlen. He was a loving and devoted grandfather to Sean’s children, Caitlin, Beckett and Liam and to Heather’s children, Blanca, Addison and Emilia.
Gregg was a devout Catholic, a veteran of the U.S. Army, an award-winning Math teacher of over 30 years, a small business owner, an author, the holder of a Doctorate, a college professor, a wonderful husband, and the very greatest of fathers.
Gregg lived life to the fullest. In his youth he sang and danced on a TV show in the 1950’s called The Children’s Hour. He was a runner, a swimmer, a skier, a cyclist, and a great golfer. He was a loyal friend to many and a fierce fighter of whatever was right. He loved his golf course community and was active as Chairman of the Common Property Committee always striving to make improvements to the neighborhood.
He was a generous, loving, kind and warm human being who will always be remembered for his humor, wisdom, and the examples he set for his children, and grandchildren. He will be missed always by those who loved him.
