Hadi Horri, 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on August 8, 2025. He was born in Khorramabad, Iran on October 30, 1947 to Omid and Ahou Horri. He matriculated through school and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Buffalo and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCF. He worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers until his retirement.
Hadi loved cooking for family and friends, exercising/walking, renovating houses, and watching sports, especially basketball and football. He was fond of martial arts, watching western movies and spending time with family.
Hadi is survived by his sons, Arash Horri and Rustam Horri; grandson, Cyrus Kay; brothers, Shamsedin Horri, Najmedeen Horri, and Tavakol Malek; sister, Soraya Horri, brother-in-law, Ali Rezaie; and nephews, Nima Rezaie and Sina Rezaie.
A service will be held for Hadi on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 1:00PM at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32223.
