Harold “Mack” McDaniel, 88, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015. Mr. McDaniel was a native of Natchez, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Jacksonville. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and had retired after 50 years with the Iron Workers Local Union 597. Mack was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Evelyn McDaniel in 2004. Survivors include his daughter, Marge Biondi; three grandchildren, Vicki Loose (Paul), Lisa Walters and Darin Nieman (Christina); six great grandchildren, Ashley Ortega, Brandon Ortega, Kasi Walters, Cody Walters, Christopher Nieman and Lauren Nieman; three great-great grandchildren, Damian Bradley, Ava Revollo and Bella Mayi; as well as other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 24, in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. Steve McCollum officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday (Today) at the funeral home.
