Hazel Marie Reynolds

REYNOLDS - Hazel Marie Reynolds, 84, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Mrs. Reynolds was a Jacksonville native but travelled widely in her “role” as a committed Navy wife and mother. She was a charter member of Dunn’s Creek Baptist Church and was active there until her health prevented her from doing so. Mrs. Reynolds was known by all as a loving and giving person who shared her faith whenever she could. She was generous, to a fault, when a person was in need. Mrs. Reynolds was predeceased by her husband, James “Jim” Reynolds and a brother, Robert Roberts Jr. Her surviving family include: 3 daughters, Helen Roberts, Deborah (Roy) Bishop, and Patrice (Anthony) Haupt; 2 sons, Kevin (Jenifer) Reynolds and Michael (Denise) Reynolds; 4 sisters, Wanda Roberts, Margaret Huber, Cola Jarmon and Myrna Jarmon; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Dunn’s Creek Baptist Church, 1425 Starratt Rd. with Pastor Dave Malmberg officiating. Interment will follow at Ferreira Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 24 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. from 3:00 until 5:00 PM.
