Obituary of Helen Annette Chesnutt
Helen Annette Williams Chesnutt, 78, went home to be with the Lord in everlasting peace on January 20th, 2022. Annette was born June 21, 1943, in Charleston, South Carolina to Frank and Agnes Williams. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Billy, her three children Randy (Lynne), Debbie (Larry)Bohannon, and Janice (Bill) McAllister; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Williams; and many cousins and friends. She started her banking career as a teller Atlantic Bank and then Barnett Bank. She retired from Barnett Bank where she was a supervisor of the transit department. During her younger years, she won many trophies racing and climbing sand dunes with Billy’s 4x4 Chevy Blazer. Her CB handle was Lady Trailblazer. She even had an article written about her in an off-road magazine. Most of her life was devoted to family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family or talking on the phone with them. She also enjoyed shopping and whenever she went, she was always thinking of someone else that she would buy something for. The grandchildren remember her having tea parties with her and her letting them set up a “shopping mall” in her living room. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hastings, Florida. She enjoyed going to church and seeing her friends and loved Pastor Buddy’s sermons.
