

Helen A. Morgan, 91, died peacefully July 19, at Taylor Care Center after an extended illness. She was born in Baltic, Ohio to Harvey and Anna Brown who predeceased her. The family moved to Canton, OH and she grew up there and graduated from Lincoln McKinley High School. She married Robert Morgan, Jr. and moved with him and their two sons to Jacksonville, FL in 1962. She was predeceased in 1976 by her husband. An older sister, Pauline Palmer, and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Morgan, both predeceased her in 1988. She is survived by sons: Terry (Maureen) of Dayton, OH and Randy (Judy) of Jacksonville; grandchildren , Emily Keegans (Chris) of Seattle, WA; Sarah Keegans (Chad) of Columbus, OH; Kelli Chandler of Valrico, FL.; and Kristen Chandler of Maryville, TN; great-granddaughter, Simon Colvin(John) of Columbus, OH; a nephew, James Loew, of North Canton, OH; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, and had many friends there and at Taylor Residences. She was a bookkeeper who worked at Skinner Dairy and Revlon until her retirement and then for Barnett Bank for several years following retirement from Revlon. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on August 23rd at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Arnold officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in her name.
