Hudelande Charleus, 44, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on August 25, 2026. Born on August 26, 1981, in Haiti, Hudelande was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt whose gentle spirit and quiet elegance touched everyone who knew her.
Hudelande was known for her kindness, humility, and unwavering integrity. She had a deep love for learning, earning multiple degrees and hoping to return to teaching, a field she cherished. Her dedication and grace left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Hudelande found joy in her faith, her family, and the peaceful solitude she often preferred. Her presence was soft yet meaningful, reflecting strength, compassion, and sincerity.
Hudelande is survived by her parents, Jeanne and Andre Charleus, as well as her seven siblings: Maxime Charleus, Maxsonne Charleus, Maniella Charleus Lorient, Hude Charleus Adhemar, Hudelie A. Charleus, Max Charleus, and Menphis Charleus.
A celebration of her life will be held on September 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Southpoint Community Church, 7556 Salisbury Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
A Committal Service will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, on September 12, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
