Hydia M. Browning

BROWNING- Mrs. Hydia M. Browning born August 29, 1959 in Morristown, Tennessee went to be with her Lord Wednesday August 26, 2009. She resided in Jacksonville, Florida for 40 years. Hydia was an active and faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. She served in the Florida Air National Guard for 13 years and worked for Prudential Insurance and Baptist Medical Center. She is survived by her parents, Buddy & JoAnne Massengill; her loving husband, Rick; her daughter, Kendall (Woody) Pirtle; a stepson Nicholas Browning; two grandchildren, Matthew & Landen; three brothers, Jeff (Adreesa), Tony (Missy) and Mike (Leslie); her sister, Tammy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews, in laws and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors graveside. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, August 31.
