Ida Hoban Bisson

Ida Hoban Bisson passed away February 12, 2013 with her family at her side. She was the proud daughter of Francis and Alma Hoban. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Mia C. Bisson. She is survived by loving children, Patricia O'brien (Bill), Debbie Bisson, Donna Bisson Uffelman (Loyd), John Bisson (Beth), Anthony Bisson (Katie), as well as loving grandchildren Meghan, Nick, Ida, Joanna and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Ida was a retired employee of the IRS and a faithful servant of the Catholic Church. She was a published author and her love of music carried on throughout her whole life. She was also a longtime resident of Avondale and was very proud of her home on belvedere, which she adored. Raising six children on her own while working multiple jobs at once, Ida found a way to look past her hardships and brought joy to everyone’s life she touched. Do not pray for Ida, pray to her. The rosary and visitation will be from 5-7pm on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Hardage Giddens on Edgewood Avenue. The mass will be held on Saturday February 16 at St.Paul’s Catholic Church in Riverside at 10am, with graveside service immediately following at Riverside Memorial Park where Ida will be laid to rest.
