Idelle Evans Onur Haas

Haas: Idelle Evans Onur Haas died at 5:30AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Mrs. Haas was a native of Coleman, FL and a resident of Jacksonville for the past 52 years. She was a member of the South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church. She was a retired teacher who taught in Duval County Schools for 30 years. She taught 3 years in Wildwood FL, 2 years in Ocala FL, and 2 years at Robert College Community School in Istanbul, Turkey. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Pi and Fidelis Delta Chapter Honorary Teachers Sorority.

Survivors include daughter Brenda Onur, son Erol Onur, grandchildren Elise Onur, Camille Onur, Shannon Miller and her husband Andy Miller, great-grandchildren Wade and Rachel, sisters Betty Dempster and Adean Wines, brother-in-law Robert Wines and many nieces and nephews who will miss her from this Earth but will see her soon in Heaven.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, July 28 from 9:30am to 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. Private burial will take place Saturday afternoon, Adamsville Cemetery in Sumter County Florida.
