Irene B. Bolton, age 88, passed away on June 5, 2015 at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville. She was born on January 2, 1927 to Dewey and Helen Barnard in Jacksonville ,where she has been a life-long resident.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Jessie Edward Bolton.
She is survived by two daughters, Belinda B. Stanley and Melinda B. Robertson (Dale) both of Jacksonville. Irene is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Shannon, Shaun, Seth, Shane, Sierra, Alan and Sarena. Four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brittni, Cody and Kaedyn.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. 32207 with her grandson, the Rev Shaun W. Smith officiating
Those who wish may make donations in Irene’s name to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
