Irene Taylor Marshall

Irene Taylor (Marshall) a long time resident of Jacksonville Florida passed away August 25, 2013 at the age of 90. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and retired from Winn Dixie. She is survived by her three children, John Sutton (Gina) of Flemming Island, Florida, Marilyn Collier (Bill) of Chelsea, Alabama, Randall Taylor (Laura)of Mandarin Florida and two sisters, Pauline Dodson of Jacksonville, Florida and Bootsie Johnson of Jacksonville. Mrs. Irene has been blessed with six grandchildren;

Jeff Sutton, Scott Sutton, Chris Collier, Tracie Blair, Melissa Garlinghouse, Julie Schwoebel and 10 great grandchildren with one on the way; Riley Garlinghouse, Samantha Garlinghouse, Collier Blair, Maddox Sutton, Spencer Sutton, Reed Sutton, Reagan Collier, Bailey Blair, Carson Sutton, Clayton Schwoebel.

Her last days were spent at Spring Gardens in Orange Park where she was cared for with kindness and love. Her funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 28th in the Chapel of Hardage-Gidden Funeral home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with Pastor Steve Mauzon officiating. Visitation will be held at the same location on Tuesday, August 27th 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

She taught us all the importance of family as well as the importance of a good work ethic. She has left us a legacy to follow as a mother, grandmother and a great grandmother. We will never forget her and look forward to seeing her again on the other side.
