LaDon was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stone Gilkey. Survivors include one sister, Terri Duff of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers Chuck Johnson of Marshall, MI and Calvin (Cristy) Johnson of Desert Hot Springs, CA; four children, Dennis (Elisabeth) Gilkey of Fort Pierce, FL, Greg (Treva) Gilkey of Fort Pierce, FL, Cindi (Russell), Swartz of Vilano Beach, FL and Wylie (Michelle) Gilkey of Green Cove Springs, FL; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one more great-grandchild on the way.
LaDon's celebration of life will be held at 4pm, Tuesday, November 10 at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Chapel, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Celebrant Robin Giddens Sheppard officiating
