Irma Acosta Fisher, 95, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. Irma was born on February 13, 1916 in Jacksonville, Florida to Thomas J. and Martha Williams Acosta. She attended local schools. For many years she worked at a job she was extremely dedicated to at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville where she retired from. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Fisher, and her parents. Mrs. Fisher was very devoted to her loving children and grandchildren. Survivors include daughters, Sharon Reidenbach and Jan Dagher (Dr. Michel Dagher); son, John Fisher; sister, Elizabeth Smith; grandchildren, James and Michelle Reidenbach, Sean and Adam Fisher, Alexis Rolon and Kristen, Harrison and Michael Dagher; great grandson, Chase and a host of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Fishers family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Tuesday May 10th, at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m.,on Wednesday, May 11 in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
