Jack J. Dinsbeer

Dr. Dinsbeer was the Pastor of University Baptist Church for 47 years and founder of University Christian School, Jacksonville, FL. He was an active member on the Board of Directors of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA until his death.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Madolyn O’Steen Dinsbeer.

He and is survived by his brother, Phillip Dinbseer (Portia); four children and their spouses, Wayne Dinsbeer (Donna), Steve Dinsbeer (Sally), Debbie Dinsbeer Benson (Jeff), and Daniel Dinsbeer (Tracy); as well as 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

In his honor a service is scheduled for Monday, February 17th at University Church at 11 am.

A visitation with a light breakfast will begin at 9:30 am at University Church prior to the service.

His heart was for ministry and missions, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Here2There Ministries, a Worldwide Missions Organization founded by his granddaughter, Stefanie Dinsbeer Nicholson, at here2there.org.
