Mr. James Bennie Adams Jr.

ADAMS:

Mr. James “Jimmy” Bennie Adams, Jr. age 47 of Jacksonville died June 29, 2012 after a brief illness. A Florida native who was born in Lake City he lived most of his life in Jacksonville. James was affectionately known as Jimmy to his close friends and family and was a talented painter who worked for many years with S. David and Company. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and friend to all who knew him. Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory, four children, three sons, Stacy Adams, Tracy Adams, Michael Adams and a daughter Erica Adams, his father James Bennie Adams, Sr. two brothers, Michael Adams and Alan Adams, two sisters, Teresa Brown and Nicole Adams and his grandchildren: Chloe Adams, Tracy James Adams, Jr. Tanner Adams, Zachary Adams, Ashlyn Adams and Macy Adams. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Louise Timmons Adams in 1987. Visitation with the family to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held Tuesday July 3, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hardage- Giddens Edgewood Chapel located at 729 South Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville Florida 32205.
