James Joseph Doyle Jr.

James J. Doyle Jr., age 84, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, near his home in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Doyle grew up in New York and New Jersey. His job took him all over the country until he moved to Florida in 1987. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James and Florence Doyle; his brother, Jack Doyle; his son, Bobby Doyle; and his wife of forty years, Anne B. Doyle. He will be remembered as a loving and generous man. He leaves behind his sister, Leah; his son, Jim; and his daughters; Laurie, Nancy, and Kathy. He will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren who he adored. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Father Bernard Ahern as Officiant, followed by interment at 1:30pm in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Deacon Kevin Boudreaux as Officiant. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at 3:30pm in the Auditorium of Westminster Woods on Julington Creek, 25 FL-13 Jacksonville, FL 32259.
