Dunn - James Thomas Dunn, (Jim) 68, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2016, with his son and daughter-in-law by his side. Jim was born May 27, 1947 in Elmira, NY to the late Thomas and Alice Dunn. Jim retired from the US Navy after more than 20 years, he then went on to work for Honeywell at Blount Island. He enjoyed fishing, garage sales, trips to the flea market, collecting rare knives, collecting and repairing fishing reels and model cars, and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Duke. He is preceded in death by his wife Debbie. His survivors include, his son, Jerry Dunn (Brienne), his daughter, Martha Strother (Joel), 8 grandchildren and numerous lifelong friends. Funeral services will be 11am Monday April 4, 2016 at Corey-Kerlin funeral home 940 Cesery Blvd. Burial with honors will follow at 2:30 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32256
