James H Fincannon

James Howard Fincannon, 94, passed away August 1, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL. Howard was born February 28, 1917 in Ashland, GA. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. Howard retired from Seaboard Coastline and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He will always be remembered as a loving, kind, and gentle husband, father and grandfather. Howard was predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Norma, and is survived by his children, Norma Jean Keen and Carol Arcuri, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10-11am Thursday, August 4 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel 4115 Hendricks Ave. Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Community Hospice for their kind support during Howard’s illness.
