Winkie is preceded in death by his parents, EA and Theresa Mae; and brother, Elmer, Jr.
He is survived by siblings, Howard, Embrey, Barbara Geevers, Carol Ann Hardy, Sandra Dukes, Elizabeth Whiting, David, Brenda Danese, Danny, Teddy, Theresa Walker, Patricia Livingston, Annette Harper, Gary, Shirley Copeland; loved ones, Amanda, Jessica, Jason, Dawn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, July 2nd at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 3rd in Julington Creek Cemetery.
