James Lee "Tumbleweed" Watkins

Married to Carol Hippo since November 22, 1990.

Proceeded in death by his first wife, Juanita Collier.

He is survived by his wife Carol and sister Dartha. Daughters; Brenda and Teresa Sharlene and son Johnny. Step daughters Charlene, Tami, Debbie and Naomi, and step son Kenneth.

He was the Grandfather to 22 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. He was also long time friends with Joe McGinnis for more than 20 years.

He was born in Geneva County, AL and resided in Jacksonville, FL for more than 45 years.

He was a long-haul truck driver for Eagle Transports. He was also a member of the United States Army and United States Air Force.

Viewing will be at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 5753 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11 AM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd
