James Joseph Middleton, age 88, peacefully passed away at home on February 9, 2015. He was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, an active member of Christ the King Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus for 65 + years. James is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Stephens) and six children; Juliana Snow (Cary), Jacksonville; Susan Tschirhart (Mark); Cheri Rourk (Mike), both of Atlanta; Stephen Middleton (Sallie) of Jupiter, Fl; Patrick Middleton (Holly), Jacksonville and Anthony Middleton, Neptune Beach. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Friday (Rosary 7pm) from Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville.James was very dedicated to the Right to Life cause.
