James Michael Minnis, 24, passed away on November 3, 2013. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, the middle son of Steven Robert and Kathleen Crowley Minnis. James was a graduate of Bartram Trail High School and a student of Florida State College Jacksonville. He was also an avid Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nancy R. Crowley, he is survived by his parents, Steve and Kathy; brothers, Andrew and Matthew Minnis; paternal grandparents, Lee and Josephine Minnis; beloved canine companion, Jade; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends. A Celebration of James’ Life will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
