James K. Reda was born March 4, 1945 in Tulsa, OK and passed away in his home in Jacksonville, FL on April 20, 2021. Jim was a loyal and loving son to his parents, Albertus “Bud” Reda and Mary A. Reda who predeceased him. He is survived by his step children, Janine Basford, Gary Reagor and Randy Reagor, as well as many loving friends and neighbors.
Jim graduated from Yamato High School in Tokyo, Japan and later served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the FAA, FEMA and RBI Trucking.
Jim loved spending time at the lake on his boat. He loved to read and keep up with current events, especially politics. We will definitely miss his daily Facebook posts.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org.
