Jim was a friend of ours for many years and a great example to us in the ministry! We will surely miss him and remember many of the times we were together. Bethel church in Canton, Ohio was our home church as it was also Bonnie's as well. We pray that God will wrap his arms of love around the family during this difficult time.

Jim Shorts was a great man. I was so lucky to have been part of his life. He always listened to your concerns like a father would. I remember when my back was hurting he brought me an ice pack that he got on his lunch break.! That’s just the way Jim was. . He will be greatly missed.
God bless you Jim.

Jim Short always felt like a Grandpa figure for me through the few years we spent as coworkers in the Honda Parts dept. He reminded me deeply of my own grandpa who I don't get to see as often as I wish, it was always nice to be at work and have him come in and tell me a story of something interesting or even just about the day he was having. Jim was filled with stories to tell. I will miss his smile and laugh as others would joke with him around the workplace. He always encouraged me to further my education and never hesitated to ask me how much more schooling I had left. He loved his wife Bonnie, traveling in his VW and the Jacksonville Jaguars. I will cherish the memories I got to have with him and will miss him deeply💛
