James was a proud graduate of Terry Parker High School, class of 1969. He went on to Luther Rice Seminary and proudly served his country as a Machinist Mate with the United States Navy.
He had a big heart with a smile and laugh to match, James was quick to gather with friends and family for cookouts to celebrate life. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger, always open to listen and lend a helping hand whenever called.
James will be greatly missed and appreciated for the time he spent with us on earth. He is undoubtedly in heaven continuing his legacy.
James is preceded by his father Leslie E. Wade, his mother Lillian Shirley Wade-Cote, and brother William Kirby Wade. He is survived by his wife Yvonda Wade. Sisters, Ramona Wade, Carmel Engelthaler, Theresa Pathak (Kieron), and many other family members and friends. He will always be remembered by everyone whose life he touched.
Rest In Peace loving son, brother, and friend to many.
