

Jane Bellamy Macomber was called home to our Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Born February 26, 1926, she was a very strong woman who loved God, her family and many friends. She was such a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great friend to all. She was a great woman who touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met. She will always be loved and missed, but never forgotten. Heaven has gained one of the greatest women the world has ever known. Married to her one true love, Russell (Buster) Macomber, and raised two beautiful daughters, Jane E. and Nancy. She was a permanent fixture at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach since 1949. She graduated from the University of North Florida and taught kindergarten at Ocean Way Elementary and Finnegan Elementary until her retirement.
She is survived by daughter, Jane M. Lyncker; grandchildren, Nickolas Russell Lyncker, Nicole Foster, and Natalie Lyncker; sister, Sandra Bryant and five beautiful great-grandchildren, whom all love and miss her dearly!!!! She also enjoyed going to Jack's and Jill's, Red Hats, traveling and going on many adventures with the Golden Girls! Granny you will be missed but you will always be in our hearts!
The funeral service will take place 11:00am on Saturday, July 18 at Hardage-Giddens, Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, with visitation from 10-11:00am prior to the service. Private burial services will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida.
