Jane Carson Saunders Myles

A member of Lakewood Presbyterian Church she was also a lifetime member of the PTA for San Jose Elementary School. She loved flowers and could name them all. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she dearly loved and watched over her family.

Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Saunders, her second husband, Robert “Bob” Myles, her son, Noble Saunders and her sister, Cynthia Whittlesey.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth F. Saunders, three grandchildren, David, Patrick and Josiah Saunders, two step-daughters, Bobbie Newborn (Bill) and Janet Myles, and a niece, Peggy Jackson (Jim).

Visitation will be Monday, January 24, 2011 from 6 – 7 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL. The funeral will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 24 in the chapel at the Funeral Home. Rev. Katie Robb will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
