

Janet Liddel Manson Cook, 89, passed away on May 3, 2012 in Jacksonville Fl. Mrs. Cook was born in St. Andrews Scotland. She was a graduate of Bruce College in Dundee Scotland and came to this country with her husband and son. Mrs. Cook worked on numerous space related projects including the Apollo/ Saturn program involving the moon landing. She retired in 1981.
During World War II, Mrs. Cook served as a radio operator first in the royal signal in England. She was a member of Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son David Cook (Rachel) of Jacksonville and two sisters Margaret Watt , Elizabeth Roy and a brother James Dorward all of Scotland.There will be no services held at this time and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Halifax Humane Society P.O.
