Janice spent her childhood years in Jasper, Florida and attended Hamilton County High School. She was a member of Future Teachers of America, Beta Club, and Debate Team. After her retirement, she worked as an Independent Human Resources Consultant and a certified yoga instructor donating her time to breast cancer survivors.
Janice’s life was full of achievements. However, out of all of them her greatest achievement was her loving son Kyle, who was the love of her life. Janice was a loving, caring and deeply devoted mother, daughter, sister, and wife who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Janice is survived by her son, Kyle Gurny and his wife Camille Shaffer; her mother and father, Catherine and Burl Harrelson; her brothers, Donny and Steve Harrelson; and her former husband, Michael Gurny.
