Jason Michael Carryl

Born on April 5, 1980, Jason was the beloved husband of Karen Carryl and the devoted father of Nora, Ada, Laurel, James, and George. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Loralei.

Jason is survived by his parents, Laura and Mike Carryl; his sister Morgan (Allen Pellum); and his brother Jonathan (Amanda Carryl). He is also survived by his in-laws, Danny and Kathy Horne, and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A Professional Engineer by trade, Jason earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering and served for ten years as a Project Manager, National Account Manager, and Director at Stellar Engineering. In recent years, he embraced entrepreneurship as the owner and CEO of Carryl Tire Company.

Jason was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian in Jacksonville. Jason's quiet strength and deep compassion touched many. Above all, Jason was fully invested in his family. He poured his life into raising his children with wisdom, humility, and unwavering love.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Christ Church Presbyterian, 9794 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257. A committal service will follow at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel & Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
