Jayson Michael Barton Sr

Jayson loved to both hunt and fish, watch football games with his boys and help them to collect football cards.

Jayson was an entrepreneur at heart responsible for helping to establish two separate optometry practices.

Jayson was also a deacon at his much loved Lineage Church in Southpoint.

Jayson remained positive throughout his hard fought battle with cancer and was always more concerned with how others were feeling rather than how he himself was feeling. He was a truly unique and loving person.

Jayson is survived by his loyal and loving wife Martha, his two sons JJ and Danny, his mother Donna Townsend Barton and father Charles Michael Barton. Along with many more family and friends who loved him dearly.

Jayson was truly the life of the party and will be missed by many.

May Jayson Rest in Peace in the arms of his loving Savior.

A funeral service will be held at Lineage Church, located at 6857 Southpoint Pkwy, Jacksonville, FL 32216, on October 18, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm.

Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm on the same day.
