Jeanette was the second child of four born to Rene Parkes and Robert Radecki in Buffalo, NY, on December 5, 1967. She grew up with three brothers, who lovingly referred to her as “the lava lady” and “wheatpuff”.
She met the love of her life, Steve, while working at Wegman’s, where she was eventually hired as an accountant after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Buffalo. Jeanette completed her Master of Business Administration in 1996.
But her true calling was being a mother to her two boys, Justin and Connor, whom she loved and nurtured with a fierce devotion. Her patience, kindness and wisdom were gifts she gave to her boys and shared with everyone she met. She was known for her love of her lord and savior Jesus Christ, always putting other people first, along with her contagious laugh, and love of the color purple.
She will be laid to rest alongside her father Robert “Bob” Radecki and brother Robert “Bobby” Radecki in Buffalo, NY. She is survived by many heartbroken family members and friends, including her husband Steve, sons Justin and Connor, mother Rene (John) Parkes, brother Dale (Jennifer) Radecki, brother Brian (Michelle) Radecki, nieces and nephews and her cat Luna.
The family will receive visitors at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32201, on Sunday, July 9, 2022 from noon-2 pm and a service led by Pastor Bob Hovey will be held at 2 pm.
