

Jeffrey M. Spector, 68, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on February 28, 2025, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, on March 15th at Grace Lutheran Church, 12200 McCormick Rd, Jacksonville, FL. A lunch will be provided to family and friends and those attending the celebration of life, immediately following the service. Jeff was born on July 27th, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska, to the late Allan Spector and Judy Buchman Spector. The family soon moved to Tucson, AZ, where Jeff grew up. He graduated from San Marcos High School, in Santa Barbara, CA. Jeff attended Pima College in Tucson. After college, he went into the newspaper advertising business, starting the Penny Saver in Santa Barbara. He later went into College Marketing and worked with colleges and universities through the US. After a successful marketing career, Jeff worked in College Sales for Calculated Industries.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father Allan Hugh Spector. He is survived by mother, Judy Spector Johnson (Doug), of Yantis, TX, his wife, Wendee Wall Spector, of Jacksonville, FL, his daughters, Lauren Spector (Mustafa), of Lompoc, CA and Kaylynn Padua (Alex), of McKinney, TX, his sister, Liane Mann (Clem), of Ocala, FL, step-mother, Janet Benik Spector, of Riverview, FL, step-daughters, Leslie Munson (Connor), of Jacksonville, FL and Julie Wade (Peyton), of Jacksonville, FL, and grandchildren: Carina Spector, Arthur Spector, Hugo Spector, Ellia Padua, Haven Padua, and Judah Padua, aunt, Bonnie Wright (Larry), of San Diego, CA, uncle, Daniel Benik, of Riverview, FL, niece, Megan Densford, of Surfside Beach, SC, nephew, Brent Densford (Tiffany) of Myrtle Beach, SC, great nieces Sydnee Steele, Mekaila Dingess, Brenlee Densford, all of Myrtle Beach, SC and many extended family and friends.
Jeff loved God, life, his family and friends, with his whole heart. Jeff was a beloved husband, to Wendee for 5 years, meeting for the first time in New Orleans, and a year later they were married in NOLA. They enjoyed travel, music, art, food and were truly soul mates. Jeff was a loving father to his daughters, Lauren and Kaylynn. He adored his grandchildren and loved watching them grow. He longed to be a part of their lives. He lit up a room and always shared hugs and laughs. He never hesitated to say I love you. Jeff served on several school boards and had great love and concern for the children of his community. Jeff and Wendee joined Grace Lutheran Church, after moving to Jacksonville, from Columbus, GA, two years ago. Jeff loved his Jewish heritage, and loved sharing holidays with his family and friends, reading the Torah and enriching everyone’s faith and life.
