Jeffrey Melton Travis

Jeffrey Melton Travis passed away on November 2, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. Jeffrey was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on November 16, 1960 to Nellie and Lynn Jeffries of Houston, TX, and relocated to Jacksonville in 1995. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Debbie Espinosa, parents, Nellie and Lynn Jeffries, son, Dustin Espinosa and daughters, Dorene Nazworth and Devin Espinosa, brother, John Jeffries of Houston, Texas and sister, Ginger Magnon of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Sophia and Lucy Nazworth. Jeff began his career in Houston, TX at Tarragon Realty Advisors over 20 years ago. He continued to work in the construction business his entire career traveling throughout the Southeast United States overseeing current and planned multi-family developments. Jeff was an avid supporter of many charities including St. Jude’s, The ASPCA and Wounded Warriors. In his spare time Jeff loved to fish and watch NASCAR. He had a love for gardening and nature. He will be remembered for his kind heart, exceptional intelligence and one of a kind sense of humor. Jeff was the happiest when he was home with his family enjoying time in his yard, listening to music and playing with his beloved dog Bendi. Memorial Contributions can be made to the ASPCA or Wounded Warriors (local chapter). Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Fruit Cove Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Fruit Cove Baptist Church 501 FL-13 Saint Johns, FL 32259.
