Born in Woodruff, South Carolina he was a son of the late Louis Hilliard & Edna Roes Walker.
He retired from Volkswagen of America after 35 years of service. Jerry was a Deacon at Hogan Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann; daughter, Tonya Reed (Andrew); son, Earl Anthony Walker; sister, Janet Chastine (George); grandchildren, Austin Tyler Bowles, Marshall Walker Bowles; great-granddaughter, Lauren Nichole Burt; and a niece, Cindy Powell (Tommy).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11:00am at Hogan Baptist Church 8045 Hogan Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32216 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
