Joan Ann Burley

Joan Ann Burley, 78, of Jacksonville, died Dec 9, 2010 at Consulate Health Care of Orange Park. She was born on Nov 25, 1932 in Middletown, NY. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Nanny.

She was predeceased by several brothers, sisters and grandson, Daniel E. Bassett. She is survived by her son, Elmer R. Burley; daughters, Elmarie R. Wierzbicki (Kenny), Barbara J. Bassett (Donald), Leila M. Cole (Roger) and Donna L. Pinder (Johnny); grandchildren, Martin “Marty” Gentile, Dean “Dino” Gentile, Gabriel Bassett, David Cole, William “Bill” Pinder, Joshua Burley, Melissa Bassett, Lee Pinder, Tyler Burley and Justin Cole; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday (today) at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. Graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, Dec 13, 2010 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
