Joann Marie Gentleman, 66, of Jacksonville, Florida went to heaven on January 2, 2014. She was born in, attended school, and raised her daughters in Omaha, Nebraska. After many years in Omaha, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Joann worked at Baptist Hospital downtown for over thirty five years. She is survived by her two children: Ranay O’Neal and Billiejo Powell, two sisters, one brother, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Joann will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her name to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
