March 22, 2018

I have so many memories of my father. Some good & some not so good. I do know that we both loved each other & learned from each other. Daddy taught me at a young age the meaning of faith, love & acceptance of differences in others. He helped me live without my mother after she left in the best way he knew how. He never spoke ill of her and I loved him for that. When he married Patsy it was difficult as a teenager and we had a time when neither he or I could see eye to eye. As I grew to understand just how life can be painful to each of us we both opened our hearts and found a deeper love for each other. Forgiveness truly can heal wounds. I will love and cherish the Daddy that God gave me. Jody
