CARVER, John Richard Carver, 77, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008. Richard was born on December 28, 1930 to the late Cecilia T. and Loy T. Carver. Carver in Lake City, FL. He was of the Baptist faith and a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Germany and was a member of the 82nd Airborne Special Forces. He was a supervisor for Watson Painting Contractors and enjoyed playing Jazz on the piano and trumpet. He is survived by his sister, Helen C. (Rev. Charles Knight) Knight; nephews, Danny and Ricky Knight and several other great nieces and nephews.Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, February 11th at 1:00 PM in Wellborn Cemetery, Wellborn, FL with Rev. Charles Knight, officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10th, from 3:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave.
