What a Great guy. He and his wife bought a new Pontiac from me in 1969. Lost track of him but thought of them often. He will be missed. Blessings to his family.

I was so very sorry to learn of your tragic loss. It appears we lose contact with those we fondly remember from our youth and wish we had remained in contact. Just know you and your entire family have Norm's and my heartfelt condolences.

It is always so difficult to lose someone you have shared many times together specially when it is so suddenly. I have many fond memories of Clarke going back to the '70s, me at his wedding, Meridith and Clarke at my wedding, delivering boats to the boat shows, and all the assistance and professional guidance in hauling and repairing so many boats. I have lost a good friend, but the Coit family has lost a good husband, father and grandfather. Clarke was one of the good guys with no enemies, Godspeed Clarke.

We had the pleasure of meeting John and Meridith at Tom & Melissa's wedding. Tom always spoke highly of John, from all accounts he was a kind fellow and an accomplished boatsman. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, we know he will be greatly missed. - Sincerely, Nancy & Ken

To Meridith & family, Candy & family, and Dorrie,
I was very saddened by the news of Clarke's passing. He has always had a special place in my heart and I have fond memories of growing up wih him and Candy on Sweetbriar Lane. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. I also attached a photo in the gallery of him 'The Clarkie I knew', with that great smile of his, holding quite a catch!
