Johnnie Lee Clayton

He was the son of the late Eugene and Ophelia Clayton and was the youngest son. Johnnie was known for his quit wit, intellectual honesty, sharp tongue and for those who’d known him always showed genuine care for his family.

Johnnie transitioned on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories: his former wife, Linda Clayton; his son: Johnnie Clayton Jr(Shamea);daughter, Aiesha ”Petey” Fulton, Jewell Clayton(deceased); grandchildren: Demon Clowney, Jaylen Clayton, Zion Clayton, Siris Mears, Nyaer Clayton, Jakai Clayton, Solomon Mears and Samiya Clayton; great grandchildren: Journey Wilson; brothers: Titus Clayton, Alfred Clayton(Harriett), Thomas Clayton(deceased)(Sandra), Roger Clayton(Joyce); sister: Patrica Clayton-Wakefield(Stanley); nephews: Shaka Clayton(deceased), Roger Clayton Jr., Ramon Clayton, Alfred Clayton Jr.(deceased), Stanley Wakefield Jr.,(Airrelle) and Stephon Wakefield; nieces: Shanika Clayton, April Clayton, Raquel Clayton, Alyssa Clayton and Asha Clayton;

special friend: Donald Williams, Elaine White and Diane Walker and a number other of relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Monday April 8th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, from 11am-12pm with the Funeral Service beginning at 12 pm.
