Kristy/Girls/"Momma" Shirley, I learned of Johnny's passing yesterday, Kim/Sara/Myself are truly sorry for your loss. Time has a funny way of filtering our memories, it seems like yesterday that we were part of the Love, Humor, Energy and Friendship that was Johnny......I've missed him for a long time.  RIP, Johnny.

I really wish I could be there not for a day of grief but to join a celebration of life. Johnny's legacy is his laugh and how he always made everyone around him laugh. I sit here with tears in my eyes but also a smile on my face because there are a million memories of joy and happiness surrounding Johnny and his fantastic and loving family. Those will last through my lifetime as well as others I'm sure. Love you Parhams. Stay strong and love eachother fiercely.

Johnny you are greatly missed. You were so special you could come into the room and light it up. When I had learn that you had passed away, I remember when you had put that broom up your pant leg and I laughed so hard I started crying.

Johnny, you have always had a special place in my heart and always will. I have enjoyed every second of my life with you, the  times we all vacationed together,and the way you made us laugh until we cried. We are all crying and missing you as if our hearts are breaking. I don't even know where to begin.  I still can't believe this has happened.  After we lost pop we could turn to you knowing you would always do what you could do to help anyone.  You had a way to make people laugh no matter what they may have been going thru.  I still remember the last day we spent together and how you had me laughing so damn hard that my stomach hurting so bad.  It's so unfair and still don't understand why we lost you and I'm sure I will never know.  I love you and miss you so much cuz.

My son, my friend , I will always love and treasure the special bond I shared with you. Thank you for giving me 3 beautiful granddaughters and my awesome daughter Kristen. Johnny,  Although we did not spend a lot of time together, I can tell you that the way your family loved you was a testimony to the type of guy you were. If it weren't for the love and the way Mom and you raised me I wouldn't be the strong,independent woman I am today. You taught me to be tough,not to let anyone knock me down but always to love with everything I have. My childhood was the best! None of my friends stories of them growing up can even compare!!  My crazy,funny brother in-law. Sorry you had to leave us, but know that you will be missed in so many ways. I will always remember you and will always remember when you brought (Pop-pie) home to my sister. She was laughing so hard when she called me and said you have to come over and see what Johnny got me. I came over and I started to cry with my sister and she said his name is going to be (Pop-pie)I started to laugh and cry at the same time. So thanks for bringing the old part of our life from Moline back. We always talked about that dog.

Johnny I feel as though I've met you,  really through the many stories shared by your loving and devoted wife Kristin. I admire the love you two have, even in death. Rest now knowing that your Heavenly Father has made it all possible for you to. Johnny had a Big Heart, a personality larger then life, and a sense of humor to go right along with it. along his journey thru life ( which was cut way to short) he made many people laugh! after spending many nights working with Johnny Mark would come home each night and tell me all the funny crazy things he would do. Oh Johnny! I will forever remember All of the years of pranks and memories and most of all the laughter. You could get anybody to do anything you wanted them to do with a lil encouragement of course bit still you had a way of making people just love you. I will always remember how you and Kristy always treated me like your lil sister and looked out for me. The thing I will remember most about you is how dedicated you were to your family. I know the struggles that your saint of a wife went through at times with some of the things that happened but you both are a true testament to how faith and love should be in a marriage because no matter what it was you two against the world and you both faced everything TOGETHER! There are many words that can describe our love for one another but 'everlasting' is the one that comes to mind right now.  I loved you from the minute I met you back on September 15, 1970.  You were my first real baby doll and I adored spending every minute with you. 

You have been such a blessing to my life and I will always cherish our memories.  I'll love you and hold your memories near and dear to my heart until the day I cross over to be with you once again.  Always in my heart.  Aunt Brenda
